AI & Automation

Make repeated work easier to handle.

Use AI and automation where they can support a specific task. Keep the purpose, the information involved and the person responsible for the result clear.

Start a project

Begin with a useful, bounded problem.

A good starting point is a task that people can describe clearly: sorting incoming requests, preparing a draft, extracting information from documents or moving approved information between tools.

We look at how the task works today, what a useful result means and what could go wrong. A straightforward rule or integration may be enough; some tasks benefit from an AI component.

What the project can include

Connected business tasks

Move information through an agreed process and make exceptions visible.

Document workflows

Prepare, organise or extract information for a defined review process.

Practical assistants

Help a person find information or complete a bounded task within agreed permissions.

Review and monitoring

Make uncertain results, failed actions and requests for human review understandable.

Keep control of the decisions that matter.

AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. We define where a person needs to review it, what actions the system may take and how results should be checked.

Before implementation, we also need to understand data sensitivity, permitted processing, access and ongoing service costs. Useful automation includes a plan for failures and changes in the tools it depends on.

Questions worth asking

Does every automation need AI?

No. Clear rules, scheduled tasks and direct integrations are often sufficient. The method should fit the task.

Can an assistant take actions for us?

Only within the permissions and boundaries agreed for the project. Actions that need approval should remain subject to an explicit review step.

Can you guarantee that AI output is always correct?

No. The design needs appropriate validation, oversight and a clear way to handle uncertainty or failure.
